Description of the tour and itinerary:

7:30/8:30 a.m.: Pick up at the entrance of your hotel

The tour includes round-trip transportation from hotels in Playa del Carmen, and the schedule varies depending on the location. The meeting point will be at the entrance of your hotel, at the time indicated on your reservation. Aboard a comfortable air-conditioned minivan, we will head towards Chiquila.

 

Boat tour: Isla Pasión and Isla Holbox

Upon arrival at Chiquila pier, we will board the boat to start the tour.

• First, we will visit Isla Pasión, a small island surrounded by vegetation with pristine beaches, where you can observe birds, such as cormorants, white and gray pelicans, and on some occasion pink flamingos, in their natural habitat. You will have about 40 minutes to enjoy the beach, the nature and admire the sea from the viewpoint.

• Then, we will navigate along Holbox Island towards Punta Mosquito, where we will find beautiful landscapes and during season groups of pink flamingos, the island being for them an important place to rest and reproduce. We will stay on the sandbanks for approximately 40 minutes.

 

Holbox Island: Restaurant and Free time 

Next, we will go to the center of the island to have lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will have approximately two hours of free time to discover more about Holbox; visit the island, enjoy the beach and walk on the sandy streets.

Return to Chiquila & Transportation to the hotel 
Finally, we will board the boat and return to Chiquila, to take you back to your hotel aboard the minivan. Arrival time in Playa del Carmen is approximately 6:30 p.m.

The tour includes round-trip transportation from Playa del Carmen to Chiquila, boat tour to Isla Pasión and Isla Holbox, water and soft drinks on the boat, and lunch at a local restaurant (chicken, fish or beef, with vegetables, and a beer, soda or water).

The schedule from Playa del Carmen is approximately from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Exact pick-up time will be confirmed upon reservation.​

​

It is recommended to bring a hat or cap, a towel, sunglasses, swimsuit, comfortable clothes, biodegradable sunscreen, a change of clothes, and cash.

​

The price is 2775 pesos per adult, and 2700 pesos per child (from 4 to 10 years old).
